You are not alone. Here’s the good news: You can take control of your computer. You can teach it who’s the boss-that’s you, by the way–and train it to be your friend in the digital age. Believe me, after teaching technology for fifteen years, I can assure you there are no bad computers, just bad moments. I’m here to show you how every challenge is an opportunity for you to learn and your computer to improve. By the time you’ve finished my columns, you and your computer will feel like friends.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am not a 22-year old child of the digital age. I don’t have a Masters in IT, or a Bachelors in Computer technology. Everything I know is self-taught and often the hard way. That means, I most likely know three ways to solve every problem because sometimes,  it takes me that many tries to fix things. That works for you because I can usually figure out how to solve things.
