Weekend Website #31: Elementary Tech Teachers Ning

Drop by every Friday to discover what wonderful website my classes and parents loved this week. I think you’ll find they’ll be a favorite of yours as they are of mine.

Everyday problems that teachers face with technology

Elementary Tech Teachers Ning

Of all the social networks I belong to, this is the most helpful. It has a wonderful group of teachers with real-life experience handling tech lab problems. Here’s a sampling:

  • How to quiet students down at the end of class and prepare to dismiss
  • Ideas for keyboarding with youngers
  • Other teacher experiences with a software, i.e., Gimp
  • iPod activities
  • how to have a computer vocabulary quiz
  • ideas on student emails

Additionally, teachers post pictures of their labs, share lesson plans, all in an effort to improve the tech lab experience across the country.

Try it out. Visit me. You won’t be disappointed.
