Weekend Website #133: Embeddable Puzzles

It’s the time of year when children are looking for entertainment and parents want something fun to keep their cerebral fires burning. Entertainment-cerebra–that’s not an oxymoron. Check this website on States, and then check out the other topics available on Quiz Factor.

Review:

There are a lot of state quizzes out there (click and scroll down to Social Studies) for students, but Quiz Factors’ States of America has a few things no others do.

  • It provides clear directions, oriented toward the challenge behind quizzes
  • It’s ad-minimal
  • I’s elegant. It makes you want to play!

These are fun puzzles to embed into class blogs, websites, wikis. What a great way to share homework with students–click the link, play the game. What do you think?
